Role at Lee Park: Pastor of Visitation

Started on Staff: I began serving at Lee Park in January, 2008

 Family: My wife, Janice, and I have had 4 sons during our marriage of 56 years, but one son died shortly after his birth, and another son died of cancer at the age of 42.  Our two remaining sons are Kit Latta and Barry Latta, who are serving the Lord; and we now have 5 grandchildren, who are all saved; and we believe the Lord is going to use them in various ways.

What I enjoy most about my ministry: I have enjoyed preaching and teaching, and also being a part of the music that God has blessed us with.  I am now retired, but I still rejoice how the Lord has used me over the years in His service.

For fun I enjoy: In the years past, my fun has been the many sports that I have been a part of.  I still enjoy watching those sports, now that I am no longer being a part of them.  I have also enjoyed antiques over the years, and still enjoy shopping for them and other interesting things.  I have also been a radio announcer for many years, and enjoy recording music, which has been one of my favorite accomplishments.
