Our Vision

Our greatest desire is to glorify God in all things.
We seek to remind ourselves that it's not about us but always about Him.  We will strive to treat everyone well and with respect because that is the heart of God and will bring glory to His name.

The message of the Gospel will always be our focus.
Jesus came to save people, not our traditions, opinions or dogma.
God sees the value in each person because He not only created us but secured our salvation in His Son and through His Spirit.
We want to do church a little differently.
Instead of training people to be religious we want to love and lead people to salvation.
Rather than talking down to people, we are learning how to talk up to people, where they are.
God loves them where they are, why shouldn't we?

Our  Beliefs

  • The Scriptures are inspired by God, authoritative and sufficient. (2 Tim 3:15-17, 1 Thess. 2:13)   There is only one true God, Creator of heaven and earth, revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  (Deut. 6:4, Zech 14:9, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, John 17:11)
  • In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born of a virgin and is both human and divine. (Luke 1:35, Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31)
  • Though originally good, humanity willingly chose to disobey God and fell into sin, introducing evil and destruction, both physical and spiritual. The consequence of sin is death. The effect of sin is a futility that has spread all the way through creation.
    (Gen. 1:26-27, Gen. 2:17, Gen 3:6, Rom. 5:12-19)
  • The Gospel is the good news that God did not give up on His fallen creation, but is bringing redemption and restoration through the work of Jesus Christ. His life is greater than our death. He died in our place as a sacrifice to pay the full penalty for sin. He then physically rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He will come again to judge to world, bringing an end to evil and restoring all things to God’s original intent. (1 Cor 15: 1-5, Luke 24:47, Rom. 10:13-15, Titus 2:11, Titus 3:5-7, Rev. 20:11-15)
  • We can have restored relationship with God by pure grace through believing in the finished work of Jesus, not through our moral effort. This is called salvation and becomes our reality when trusting Jesus through faith and repentance. This includes life after death, but it is more; it is life before death.  (John 17:3, Eph. 2:8-9)
  • In the availability, fruit, and present-day power of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. (Gal 5:22-25, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor 12) as both individuals and a community, we are called to participate in God’s redemptive purposes on this earth. (Eph 1:22-23, Matt. 28:19-20, Eph. 4:11-16, Psalm 112:9)
  • In the blessed hope of the future restoration of all things - from the natural world to our physical bodies. Those who turn from sin to Jesus will be raised to eternal reward. Those who do not will be separated from God forever.  (Rom. 8:23, Rev. 20:11-15)
